We are delighted to be sponsoring Slough Cricket Club for another year. We are club sponsor and you will see our logo on the kits as well as banners around the ground.
Founded in 1849, Slough Cricket Club (SCC) was, and still is, one of the leading cricket clubs in Berkshire with three full sized cricket grounds, a club house with a bar (including food service on weekends), and five net facilities for members to practice in. They are associated with all major cricketing bodies in the country and region namely: ECB (England & Wales Cricket Board), BCF (Berkshire Cricket Foundation), BCB (Bucks Cricket Board), HCPCL (Home Counties Premier Cricket League), TVCL (Thames Valley Cricket League) and Slough Council.
SCC offers cricket playing opportunities to all ages: from Under 5 to Seniors and has been working hard in the disability cricket section. Thanks to the efforts of many resilient and dedicated members, they have a growing number of women’s and girl’s cricket teams to promote young girls and women across Slough and the neighbouring towns to get involved and get active in many new opportunities to play sports at highly subsidised membership. Listed below is the scale of teams and members they are serving in the community:
- Team 1 represents Home Counties Premier division and 8 senior teams representing various divisions in Thames Valley Cricket League providing 100+ senior members with the opportunity to play.
- 20 colt teams (250+ members) representing youth and women’s sections
- Promoting All Stars Cricket, Dynamos Cricket and disability cricket in partnership with local cricketing bodies
- Hosting minor counties matches from Berkshire and Buckinghamshire
- Hosting group events for cricket awareness and bring communities together like Christmas, BBQ parties, and presentation evenings
Our sponsorship plays an integral role in supporting the development of the club and supporting the wider community of Slough.
